"Bazinga!"

If you get the title, then you're as bigger TBBT nerd as me. *high five* If not? enjoy the word nonetheless!

Pointless fact 'o' the day!

The title I was going to write for this post had cuticle in it. On a whim I googled it, turns out names for parts of the nail include 'lunula', 'distal groove' (was that a 70's band, or is it just me?) and 'matrix', don't they just sound lovely?! This is why you should never bite your nails.

Nonsensical whimsy 'o' the day!

I always feel like coloured tips with a clear base look a bit like a window to you nail.
The sequins were hard to get off and put on. But I quite liked it, so I'll let it live.

A- England Ascalon; A Holographic silver

Finally I made the plunge and ordered some polishes from the new A-England Legends collection. I could have had them all but I stuck to Ascalon, St'George and Dragon (for now!). I'm really impressed, both by this collection and the pure quality of the polish it's self, at £9 a bottle these are a bargain for what you're getting; non-staining, no streaks, highly pigmented, glass-like shine, quick drying. There's really very little else you could ask from these polishes to improve them. If you want a quality lacquer for goodness sake get these!

As for Ascalon on it's lonesome, it grew on me. As with most holos, in the daylight they are a little dull, (though in the bland light of day this is still a beautiful gunmetal with hints of lavender) but with artificial light (and indeed sunshine, I came to find) they come alive glinting spectraflair and morphing with movement. As I've said before, when it comes to nail polishes I'm a small child- I get impatient and bored quickly. This polish kept me entertained, and that is what I need; entertaining polish.

Gold Fiingar! aka W7 gold dazzle swatch

After the infinite glittery joys of my last W7 nail polish here, I have been on the hunt for more colours, I think I can safely say I've come up trumps with this beauty!

With flash

You can buy W7 nail polishes here at fragrancemad.com (tip; all glitters are called either 'dazzle' or 'cosmic')

The very best thing about these polishes is that most of them are not suspeded in a colored jelly base which I hate with a glitter polish, it seems to dull out the effect so much, plus glitter in a clear base is nice and easy to layer, so much more versatile!

Once you've had glitter you can't go back.
