core' blimey!....sorry.

Had a leisurely day out with mum and nanna today. We went shopping and had lunch at The Green Quay, of bacon and brie sandwiches (for goodness sake go here and order this if your passing through Lynn!). The Green Quay also has some fantastic and interesting information and exhibits about the wash and fens, particularly an amazing had made small scale model of how King's Lynn looked over 400 years ago (how I wish I'd taken a picture!). We then headed over to the 900 year old St Margaret's church (or King's Lynn Minster as I'm informed by my nanna) for a wander and look round, I'm really not religious at all but this is such an incredibly grand and beautiful church I nearly always pop in if I'm near, it's so quite and peaceful.

I wore a couple of 'virgin' items today too, those being the shoes and dress. Both were pretty comfortable and passed their test run, though my feet were pretty sore after all the walking, but what else can you expect from 5" heels!

I topped the day off with a Ben and jerry's binge, I'm so happy they've brought back 'Oh my, apple pie!' yay for Tesco, though not yay because they were out of choccy philly *le sigh* can't believe something so strange is so popular, but god it is good!

btw "that's nobby" is basically my nan's catchphrase, otherwise translated as "ooh isn't that good/nice!", wish people came out with phrases like that now!

  2. This looks like such a fun day! I'm SO JEALOUS that you have the Ben and Jerry's Core Carmel Sutra!!!! That was my favorite and they discontinued it in the U.S. like, 10 years ago. It's soooooooooo good I wish I had some now :)
